Project Synopsis
Spyder Environmental was engaged to perform mold remediation and asset recovery in a decommissioned missile silo in Weld County, Colorado. Once repurposed as a storage facility for sensitive documents, the silo had developed mold contamination that put valuable archived materials at risk. The goal was to preserve, clean, and relocate the documents safely. The project presented several unique challenges, including navigating a confined, aging underground structure and working around delicate materials compromised by mold.
