Project Synopsis
A large explosion within a townhome-style apartment complex compromised the structural integrity of the building as well as the foundation. The Stratus project required meticulous planning, coordination, and execution to resurrect this building completely from the ground up.
Challenges
Resurrecting a building in close proximity to other structures presents a unique set of challenges and considerations due to the potential impact on neighboring buildings, safety concerns, and logistical complexities.
Results
While the tragedy of the explosion to the Stratus complex was devastating, the reconstruction effort resulted in a beautiful new building that conforms to contemporary safety standards including a full fire suppression system. Spyder not only replaced what was lost but also delivered a quality product that exceeded pre-loss conditions and improved benefits for future occupants and the surrounding community.
