Project Synopsis
Spyder Environmental was engaged to remediate mold and asbestos following water damage caused by a dishwasher supply line leak. The work included comprehensive mold removal, targeted asbestos abatement, and coordination of the insurance claim, including inventory and disposal of all soft goods and contaminated personal items.
RESULTS
The project involved addressing mold and asbestos hazards concurrently. Spyder implemented negative air pressure and air scrubbers to dry and cleanse the environment. After antimicrobial mold treatment, asbestos containment and abatement were performed. Demolition included removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring down to the studs, which were then fully encapsulated to ensure lasting safety—all while minimizing disruption and maintaining occupant safety.
