Project Synopsis

Spyder Construction is committed to supporting our clients in achieving compliance with the Energize Denver Initiative’s energy performance standards. As part of a comprehensive four-year energy upgrade plan, our team replaced windows and patio doors across 29 multi-family buildings, totaling nearly 4,000 openings and serving 600 occupied units. By collaborating closely with ownership and the property management team, we developed a phased approach that enhanced energy efficiency, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and improved overall comfort for residents while keeping the community fully operational.

CHALLENGES

Executing a project of this scale in an occupied community required careful planning and communication. Coordinating work across 29 buildings and thousands of openings meant minimizing disruption for residents, sequencing phases to maintain safety and accessibility, and aligning schedules with ownership’s long-term energy compliance strategy.
