Project Synopsis
A large fire ignited on the deck of a multi-family apartment complex resulting in the devastation of 8 units. Spyder Construction was brought in to complete the asbestos abatement and reconstruction of the roof trusses, interior walls, exterior siding and windows, and all decks.
Challenges
Building code changes from the time that the building was originally constructed to current standards led to numerous engineering modifications. Spyder partnered with both engineers and city officials to find workable solutions ensuring contemporary safety, environmental, and accessibility standards.
Results
Through effective project management, the project was completed ahead of schedule, facilitating the early return of leased apartment units benefiting both landlords and tenants.
