SALES MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and maximizing the potential of Spyder Construction’s sales team by creating and implementing strategies to help us build our sales pipeline, keep our company competitive, and lead to the continued growth of our organization. The Sales Manager works as both a coach and a team-player possessing the skills to produce revenue while at the same being able to train and motivate a dynamic team toward success. By crafting revenue and margin targets along with setting short- and long-term sales and revenue growth targets, the Sales Manager leads the company’s strategic sales objectives.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain responsibility for the performance of all sales activities within the company to achieve growth and drive maximum profitability.
  • Oversees, coaches, and manages the performance of Project Directors and Business Development team members to enhance their ability to achieve a high rate of executed contracts with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sets financial targets, prepares sales and revenue forecasts, and presents projections to the management team to strategically drive growth in conjunction with company goals.
  • Meets or exceeds sales targets by successfully managing financial metrics, monitoring the sales pipeline, and tracking key performance indicators for the team of Project Directors.
  • Continually analyzes the sales process in an effort to refine and improve its success, and work with the management team to establish a sales reporting framework.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that drives customer acquisition and expands the company’s customer base.
  • Assists Project Directors in negotiating and overseeing contracts and makes data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation of the sales team.
  • Reviews proposals and attends project reviews to ensure projects are in line with strategic objectives in terms of profitability and Spyder’s ability to deliver on quality and execution.
  • Builds and promotes strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs, and maintains relationships with key clients.
  • Handles and resolves customer complaints regarding service or quality issues and works to drive quality control and/or implement process changes.
  • Identifies emerging markets and pursues new business opportunities while being fully aware of the competitive marketplace.
  • Recruits top talent to the team and builds a well-diversified team that covers all lines of Spyder business
  • Attends industry events to recruit employees and engage new customers
  • Works closely with the production team to ensure customer service and project success

  • Consistently drive business objectives and profitability

 

Salary DOE $150k-225k plus all or some of total compensation benefits including profit sharing, car allowance, healthcare benefits
